My waitlist is now open for neurodiversity affirming, comprehensive diagnostic assessments for adults 19 years of age and older for autism, ADHD, CPTSD and AuDHD.

The goal of my assessment process is to confirm whether your internal and external experiences map onto the DSM-5-TR diagnostic criteria for autism, ADHD and/or CPTSD. It is also my goal to help you tease out and understand past diagnoses and identify potential misdiagnoses. Assessments are available for individuals in MA and CT and are completely virtual at this time.

As someone navigating neurodivergence myself, I deeply appreciate the journey of personal discovery and self-understanding.  As a clinician, I fully affirm self-diagnosis as a path to understanding. However, I recognize that formal diagnosis holds significant value for many. Obtaining professional confirmation can open doors to essential support, from prescribed medications to tailored accommodations in educational and professional settings. Furthermore, a formal diagnosis often provides a sense of validation, empowering individuals to confidently communicate their neurodivergent identity to loved ones and healthcare providers. A neuroaffirming assessment can serve as a comprehensive roadmap, illuminating personal strengths and identifying strategies for a more fulfilling life.

Sadly, the assessment process can be a source of distress and invalidation for some. Outdated and non-affirming diagnostic tools, a focus on perceived deficits, and a lack of sensitivity can leave individuals feeling misunderstood and even traumatized, regardless of the outcome. Even when a diagnosis is reached, the experience can leave a lasting negative impact.

My approach prioritizes a non-pathologizing, respectful, supportive, and accommodating experience. Through thoughtful interviews, personalized self-assessments, and insights from those who know you well, we will collaboratively explore your unique neurodivergent profile, focusing on your strengths and celebrating your individual way of being.

Assessments start at $900 USD depending on which assessment pathway you choose. We do offer an economic hardship program that provides assessments that start at $300 for folks on a limited or fixed income**.
